National Academy of Osteopathy inside TTC

NAO aims to introduce osteopathy to the public. With the increased awareness of the public comes more usage of osteopathy and as a result more patients would benefit from the wonderful health care manual osteopaths provide.

We constantly work towards this goal. Our recent agreement to fund partially the Osteopathy TV (www.fb.com/osteopathytv) was one way we are working on that.

Setting up the Osteopathy Related Research & Science (www.fb.com/osteopathicresearch) was another endeavor that introduced many to the profession of osteopathy. The site was set up by Dr Pourgol three days ago and has already received close to 1,500 likes!

Becoming an affiliate member of the Ontario Hospital Association was another project that made many become aware of NAO.

Now we have undertaken a large media blitz inside over 100 subway cars of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) as well as many buses across the provinces of Ontario to introduce the mass public to NAO. The ads would come out in March 2014 for a period of six months. It is estimated that over a million people would see these ads.

Due to what we do, millions of people in Canada and elsewhere have become familiar with what osteopathy is. This is one of the greatest achievements of NAO. And it is making us proud to be able to expand osteopathy through the population.
