$700,000 in Scholarships Offered by NAO to 200 Students


$3500 in Scholarships for 200 Students to Study Osteopathy

$700,000 in Scholarships Offered by National Academy of Osteopathy to Celebrate World Osteopathy Day.

Based on the recommendation of NAO president; Dr Shahin Pourgol to the International Osteopathic Association, June 22nd (the date osteopathy was founded by Dr Still) has been chosen as the World Osteopathy Day by IOA in 2012.

To celebrate this day, National Academy of Osteopathy which aims to spread osteopathy worldwide, is offering up to $700,000 in scholarship to 200 national & international students.

Each scholarship is valued at $3,500 which is credited towards the Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice (DOMP) program.

These scholarships are available only to students who at the minimum have completed high school (grade 12) and those who do not have previous health education.

The program is 8 months full time or 20 months part time and can be taken either as a campus based program in Toronto, or worldwide through online distance education.

NAO is accredited by the Council on Manual Osteopathy Education, International Osteopathic Association, Canadian Manual Osteopathy Examining Board, College of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners of Ontario, Ontario College of Osteopathic Rehabilitation Sciences, and many others.

NAO is the only osteopathic college in Canada that has been accepted as an affiliate member of the Ontario Hospital Association.

NAO graduates are permitted to work in all countries including Canada (all provinces), USA (all states), Australia, UK, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Sweden, Bahamas, South Africa, Japan, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Egypt, & South Korea, amongst others.
