Continuing Education for Massage Therapists ($282.50 per 20 CEUs)

Continuing Education for Massage Therapists ($282.50 per 20 CEUs)

Most regulatory boards require massage therapists to enrol in a continuing education course with 2o continuing education units (CEU) every year or two. For example the registered massage therapists of Ontario must complete 30 CEU every 3 years, 20 of which must be category A, however all 30 CEU could be Category A as well. Taking two of the course NAO offers would satisfy the requirement set by your regulatory board. CEUs are calculated at one CEU for every two hours involved in the learning activity.

National Academy of Osteopathy offers the following courses for massage therapists in every major city across North America, Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe to all health practitioners.

We have kept the course tuition low to make them affordable. Course fees are $282.50 ($250 plus 13% tax). The tuition is tax deductable in all countries. Each course offered satisfies 20 CEU. Courses are offered the first weekend of every month (12 times per year). Space is limited so to reserve your spot please apply early.

We are adding more courses soon. Currently the following courses are offered. These are all category A courses and meet the requirements of massage therapy regulatory boards including the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

SE 320 Joint Specific Therapeutic Exercises: This course covers joint specific therapeutic exercises that health practitioners can teach patients to help them with different musculoskeletal conditions, with more focus on conditions affecting the spine. 20 CEUs.

AL 320 Activities of Normal Life Intervention Assessment: Activities of Normal Life Intervention (ANLI) assessment is a type of assessment commonly done on patients who are injured in a motor vehicle accident. This course prepares massage therapists to perform ANLI assessments. 20 CEUs.

MP 320 Motion Palpation of the Spine: Motion palpation is used to detect spinal lesions and in spinal analysis. This course introduces massage therapists to motion palpation and teaches the most common ones used on the spine. 20 CEUs.

PM 320 Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation: PNF stretching, or proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation stretching, are stretching techniques commonly used in clinical environments to enhance both active and passive range of motion with the ultimate goal being to optimize motor performance and rehabilitation. 20 CEUs.
